Star image presentation The Beatles The Fab Four revolutionised the sound, style, and attitude of popular music and opened rock and roll's doors to a tidal wave of British rock acts. Their initial impact would have been enough to establish the Beatles as one of their era's most influential cultural forces. Although their initial style was a highly original combination of early American rock and roll and R&B, the Beatles spent the rest of the 1960s expanding rock's musical limits, consistently staking out new musical territory on each release. without sacrificing the effortless mass appeal of their early work . They then took the time to go to india and study music with locals there and this is where they gained inspiration to use some Indian instruments in one of their songs and then they went on to write the album Sgt. Pepper which was vastly different to all their other albums. It completely changed their image with the release of this album.

Green Day - American Idiot  The title track of Green Day’s 2004 album was originally written as a response to US President George W Bush and the war in Iraq that came out of the September 11 attacks. it has a lot of sarcastic remarks and the song expresses their attitudes to certain political and social issues. But interest in the song has seen a resurgence following the election of Donald Trump and has begun to climb the UK charts in the run up to the President’s visit to the country in July 2018. M.I.A. - Paper Planes  Maya Arulpragasam is the daughter of a Sri Lankan Tamil activist, so she is in a good position to appreciate the daily struggles of immigrants and refugees who hail from areas of conflict.
